🐾 Meet the Backenstosses, the heart and soul behind EarthWise Pet, Kansas City! 🌟

We're Bryan and Amanda, a dynamic duo thrilled to bring top-notch options in pet food, accessories, and services to our beloved Kansas City community. With 22 years of marriage, 3 incredible kids, and a spirited Mountain Cur by our side, our journey is all about family and furry friends.

Amanda, hailing from Wyoming, has a lifelong bond with animals, while Bryan, a true Kansas City native, has fond memories of growing up with a majestic Great Dane (whom he once mistook for a horse as a kid!). Together, we're on a mission to create a world-class grooming and services department, with Amanda leading the charge, while Bryan dives deep into pet nutrition as a Certified Pet Dietitian.

As for our amazing kids, they're each carving their paths with passion and purpose. From our eldest son embarking on a mission for our church before delving into Astro Space Engineering, to our talented daughters finding their voices and sound in the fine arts scene, they're flourishing both academically and socially.

And let's not forget our spirited Mountain Cur, Piper! She's the epitome of energy, the guardian of our girls (watch out, boys!), and excited to continue in obeidence training to gear up to be part of a search and rescue team. With her as our loyal taste tester, we've crafted a rotational diet to keep her thriving on a species-appropriate meal plan.
